Our infant room teachers use Pinnacle Curriculum.  We like this curriculum for the basics that infants begin to learn at this age.  The curriculum helps to guide the teachers to ensure your little one is progressing developmentally.  Children are NEVER too young to learn!  For more information on this curriculum, flow the link:

Cornerstone Academy uses a combination of many different curriculums for each classroom.  We have found over the years that many companies that provide curriculum for childcare have some great components, but do not have a really good curriculum overall that will not only engage the children, but will provide the teacher with a great framework that they can easily implement in the classroom. We believe your child's education needs to align with today's current standards and technology, which is why we have worked to build a custom curriculum for our classrooms.    We have also added a faith based component to all of our curriculum.  Children hear Bible stories and learn how to emulate Christ like behavior in school and at home.  See the description below to provide you with a better idea of what  is used in each classroom.

It has taken almost two years for us to complete this project, and we are constantly enhancing it based on new educational developments. Most companies update their curriculum on average every five years.  We believe in our fast paced world, and with the availability of new technology, that is too long to re-evaluate what we are teaching your children.

Our team meets monthly to evaluate the curriculum and all of it's components. The teachers and directors provide feedback, and the monthly curriculum is updated at the end of each month for the upcoming year.  As an example, we just added a technology component for our 3 year classes, and provided each teacher with an iPad to use in the classroom to add an increased engagement component for the children.  There are many great learning aps that are at the fingertips of our teachers and the children are loving it!

One's, Two's and Three's

For this age group, as the child is becoming more advanced and ready to learn, we felt that we needed to add to the Pinnacle Curriculum.  The curriculum takes the basics of Pinnacle, and then each day is enhanced and more guidance is given to the teachers through more detailed lesson plan descriptions. We have worked closely with Smarty Pants Online Training, a company that provides educational courses to childcare teachers, to develop our customized curriculum.
